This is a “camcorder” recording taken at
“Blues Alley” in Washington in January of 1996.
In November, 1996, Eva died of cancer.
Two years later, Eva’s versions of "Fields of Gold" and
"Over the Rainbow" were played by disc-jockeys,
Mike Harding and Terry Wogan, on BBC Radio.
There was huge response from the listeners.
An album was produced - “Songbird”.
”Songbird” topped “Album Charts” all around the world.

I won a sales competition and the prize was for me and my family
to enjoy a luxury week-end in London which included tickets to
“The Phantom Of The Opera”.
I was amazed by Michael Crawford’s high wire acrobatics.
and his wonderful operatic singing.
After the show, I was invited to his dressing room.
We chatted while Michael removed the face make-up
that took him over an hour to put on before every performance.
